Very handy application that helps one to out when mostly needed. I was in China and had to find out my way and Vocre saved my day many times. Unfortunatelly way too slow, specially at locations with poor internet connection. However, fantastic for a free ware application. Congratulations to the Vocre Team, you developed a great product!!!
I read about this app back in the fall of 2011 in a Canadian newspaper, & felt the same. Hrrmph. Why tell me about it if its unavailable to me. I emailed the company letting them know how I felt (disappointed). The first reply I received was a generic "Sorry, not available in Canada……yet." As it turned out, they were looking for Beta Testers. A couple of emails & a phone interview later, I was approved to test the app. So far, for me, its living up to all the promises of being an intuitive, friendly way to communicate with people who speak a different language. A co-worker was impressed with the fact there is a selection of regional dialects for Chinese translations. The person Ive been in communication with from Vocres parent company (myLanguage inc.) has been very friendly, helpful & encouraging. I do know the company has some red tape to get through which is typical when a business wants to go multi-national. Bottom line, Id say stick with it, check back for updates & you will be pleasantly surprised. Vocre is demonstrating itself to me that its performance is what Ive always expected a translation app to be.
My compliments to the developers for this great program, but may we also expect to see in it more non European languages like Tagalog, Vietnamese, Hindi and other Asian languages as well? Since there are already quite a few programs of this kind for European languages! That would be really awesome! And once more...Bravo! Kind Regards! Francis, Second language teacher, Montreal, Canada
Very very cool app. I obviously dont speak all of the languages but as far as I can tell it does a great job translating. Speech recognition is almost perfect. I cant believe its free! Of youre ever traveling this app is a must have.

Some bad moments

I would also like to try this app. App wont open if you live in Canada?! Does not support Canadian English?!
Very cool app. Worked perfectly the first time I tried it but ever since it keeps freezing. Too bad.
Well... Since I bought it, tried several language and it is always the same problem. Do not buy this app for voice translation. It doesnt work.
It does not work! It just reads out an error message each time!
Just doesnt work. Slow, difficult and useless . Just use Voice Translator Pro...
Ok guys all is good bu to be honest this new update is BS u dont add new languages u cut many languages pls fix this mistakes
